Launching GA4Dataform Premium was the end of our internal project aptly named: “Launch”.

And it’s the beginning of a journey. GA4Dataform is just over a month old now, and it has grown already!

Here’s the highlights:

Much simpler pricing, made to fit actual use cases

We talked to our user base, and listened to their feedback, and adjusted our offering to fit the needs of actual users.

The summary: we brought the number of pricing tiers back to 2

  1. Premium One (for 1 project)
  2. Premium Unlimited (unlimited projects)

Same product, but for use in 1 project (typically, a Brand or Shop) or Unlimited number of projects (typically, an Agency managing dozens of clients)

Which means it’s now super affordable for agencies to buy a license and use it for all customers. No need to wait for the customer to buy a license: just use yours! (some Terms of Service apply).

And yes: we lowered our subscription fees significantly, bridging the gap between Core (our free version), and Premium.

More features (ones you asked for)

Our Core version solves “the GA4 problem” by creating cheap flat event and session tables.

Our Premium version – on release – added “more models, better models and handy reports“.

Our latest release, version 2.0.4 will add (compared to v2.0.0) two of our most requested features:

  • support for Custom Channel Grouping in the sessions table (you can create unlimited groups)
  • support for Multi-GA4 properties: use 1 configuration to roll-up multiple analytics dataset into one set of tables

And last but not least:

  • support for the Google Ads Data Transfer Tables

The Google Ads tables that Google provides are very hard to plough through, mainly due to the hundreds of tables and views.

When enabling our Google Ads Module, the tables are transformed, and ready to use as reporting table.

Documented, and supported

We’re continuing to develop more features and support more datasets in the near future. As Premium subscriber, you will be able to upgrade it and use it at no extra cost.

We have full documentation for using the GA4Dataform modules available in our documentation portal. Be sure to check that out.

We will be sending out emails, writing blog posts, and recording videos for you to provide tutorials, real-life samples and use cases on getting the most out of your GA4Dataform install, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile: happy modeling, and a big thanks of being part of the GA4Dataform community!
