Once upon at time in 2024, the five of us met at an Analytics congress (Superweek – go visit!) 

Talking about our jobs and what we do, we noticed we we’re running into the same problems. And we were also solving the same problems. What a waste of effort!

The problems:

• querying GA4 data is complicated and cumbersome
• the GA4 schema is constantly changing and updated
• Querying raw data is expensive
• Building a simple report requires a massive amount of groundwork to be dione first..

So we decided to join forces and create a solution for it.

We all know our stuff and are T-shaped data people. Artem is a cloud wizard, and handles the automation. Krisztián is a dataform guru, Jules dreams SQL models, Simon obsesses about data quality, and Johan is Mr ga4bigquery himself.

In the true spirit of the wonderful #measure community our goal is to not only make the best  product out there, but also to give the foundational datamodels to the community by making them Free and Open Source.
